Silvia Gómez Ansón.
Professor of Financial Economics and Accounting at the University of Oviedo.
She holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from CUNEF, a Master´s degree in International Economics from the University of Konstanz, Germany, and a PhD in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Oviedo.
She is the author of scientific publications in the form of articles, books and book chapters. José Sanchís Award (1996) and Family Business Section Award (2017), and finalist (2007, 2021) in ACEDE Congresses; Alden G. Lank/Family Business Consulting Group Award in IFERA Congress (2004) and Financial Studies Award, Accounting and Business Administration (2002). Invited speaker at seminars and meetings of national and international organisations. She has supervised several doctoral theses, among them with the mention of International Doctorate and Extraordinary PdH Award. She holds five six-year periods: four for research and one for transfer.
Visiting Professor at German universities (Otto von Guericke Universität Magdeburg and Europa Universität Viadrina), and at the Università degli Studi di Torino, Italy. She has been Director of the Coordination Area of the Vice-Rectorate for Economic Planning and Delegate of the Rector for the Campus of International Excellence of the University of Oviedo. Head of the Finance and Corporate Governance Research Group at the University of Oviedo. At the national level, he has collaborated with ANECA, ANEP, ACPUA, ACSYCYL, ACSUG, AQU Catalunya, AVAP, ACCUA, Fundación Madridmasd, La Caixa Foundation, Fundación Ramón Areces and UNIBASQ. Internationally, with the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), the European Research Executive Agency (REA), European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), EuroTech University Alliance, L´Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
She has been a member of the Evaluation Panel for the Economics area FPU Contracts (2020-2022), of the Legal and Social Sciences Committee of the support grants for the pre-doctoral stage, ACSUG (2021), of the Commission for the Verification, Monitoring and Accreditation of Doctoral Programmes (coordinator of the Economics branch), ACCUA (2016-2020) and of the Social and Legal Sciences Commission for Institutional and Programme Evaluation, AQU Catalunya (2016-2021).
