II TalentUO Hackaton

The Chair participated in the II TalentUO Hackathon with a challenge linked to SDG 12, about waste reduction and plastic reduction in the supply chain.

The proposed challenge "How would you favour the reduction of food losses in supply chains? How would you encourage responsible food consumption? What actions could favour it? How would it be carried out?" was presented on behalf of the Chair by the Associate Professor Isabel Álvarez Vega and was magnificently solved by four students from the Faculty of Science of the University of Oviedo.

The students were Álvaro Sánchez Fernández, Ángel Sangil Vidal, Diego Marcos Rabanillo and Fernando García Peláez.
